About IELTS:

IELTS is an international exam with an overall score of band 9. This exam is into two category: Academic module and General Module. The exam is needed from international students and individuals that are from non-native English speaking countries who are interested in traveling abroad for an undergraduate/ Masters program or individuals migrating abroad.

 The exam is used as a proof of one’s English proficiency level.

IELTS exam is conducted every month throughout the year in Nigeria and other countries around the globe.

Preparation is needed in other to have an excellent score.  TEO Global Services is an officially recommended training center and exam registration center located at Agric, Ikorodu in Lagos State Nigeria. IELTS exam can be taken either paper base or internet base, and it is advisable that students familiarize themselves with sample questions and the use of computer before the exam day.

IELTS training class timetable at TEO GLOBAL SERVICES: Monday to Thursday, 11am to 3pm, While, weekend class holds every Saturday, 10am to 1pm.

The requirement for IELTS exam enrollment is that students must have a valid international passport, which must also be presented at the testing center on the exam day.

IELTS exam result has expiration period of two years.

The difference between IELTS and TOEFL is that, IELTS has two exam modules, which are Academic and General test modules. In other words, a student who wants to register for IELTS exam must decide from onset which of the modules he/ she wants to write, based on what the exam result is to be used for.

Usually, students enroll for IELTS Academic while immigrants enroll for IELTS General test. On the other hand, TOEFL exam has only one test module which is Academic, unlike IELTS exam.
